Any DIY hobbies help. It’s cool because you’ll make good use of it no matter what!

I really enjoy creating invites and decorations for events. I like to get creative with paper! I’m definately not good enough to market it, but I’ve helped a lot of nonartistic friends with parties and events!

I enjoyed it, too….until about 20 invitations in. Then it was like, holy crap how many more are left? Spread it out!

Origami! I’m planning on folding 1001 paper cranes for the good lucks. I’m a little speed demon with them. Last semester I folded 500 in one week as a part of a paper installation I was doing. Totally doable. πŸ™‚

    But yeah, learn origami!

    It can just be pretty!

I remember when I first started researching calligraphy. I was like, dude, there are multiple strokes for each letter? WTF? I try to not think about it so much. :p

I wonder how long it will take me to do 200 envelopes? Of course I’ll be using white ink, cause I love making my life more complicated. So that will take about 100 more years due to the weirdness and inconsist opacity of white ink.

So beast along, sister. Then share your tips. lol

Crebre, I recently did one of my sister’s baby, but I didn’t want to fly anything out to Colorado (our wedding is destination) and worry about it getting destroyed on the way back. Thanks for the compliments though! If you really want to see some, you could always PM me with your email πŸ™‚

Love calligraphy. How fun! My mom got me a calligraphy book for christmas when I was a little kid and I loved it.

Well, I have a hobby, but when I try to focus on it my mind always seems to somehow wonder back to waiting/weddings. I HATE IT!

Good thoughts! For me, blogging and reading Weddingbee takes up enough of my time! And relaxes me on top of that! πŸ˜‰
