I like the idea, I only worry about how hot my feet are going to be but I would wear them for awhile untill I was too hot to wear them any more. I do think you will run into that issue anyway for a June wedding if you had regular cowboy boots. I think its a great substitute and would wear them in my home afterwards HAHA

I think I would just skip it and leave it up to people to provide their own shoes. How much would you be spending on these? they would get dirty so fast

HAHA those are hilarious, I’d nab a pair! But, I would never buy those for my guests for 10 bucks per person. To each their own!

I think they’re kind of cheesy to be honest.

I wouldn’t wear those. When I’m dressed up for a wedding, I’m not going to put on a pair of chunky slippers.

I appreciate that you are trying to offer a fun alternative to flip-flops for your guests, but I don’t think this is it.

What about a country themed flip flop?

@NYCowgirl:  Cafe press has themed flip flops.

Or, you could buy inexpensive flip flops and rubber stamp theme with a permanent ink.

Something like this would be cute if you order two- one with each of your names to stamp the right and left foot differently.

i have to disagree with everyone else…I think the cowboy slipper boots are awesome and I would definitely wear them to dance the night away. flip flops dont look any dressier than slippers in my opinion. i think the slipper boots are cute!

I wouldn’t worry about boots or flip flops personally. When I go to a Wedding I wear shoes that I can dance in. yes some women will wear heals but as a guest they have an option on thier foot wear. I do think the boots are cute though I also worry about the heet issue so perhaps the flip flops would be better however I would only get them for your bridesmaids and maybe your mothers.

I think the idea of boots is way more generous and original than flip flops and it fits your theme, but it would be too expensive for me to consider and I don’t know if it is the style you posted that is turning people off.. It’s YOUR wedding though, do what makes you happy and reflects your personality. Guests are there because they love who you are 🙂

I’m sorry but no, just no. Your weding is in June. It’s going to be too hot. Just buy some flip flops for guests. Or better yet, let them bring their own shoes. This is unnecessary.

woah. I can’t believe how adament and blunt some of the pps are. I just want to say again, these are adorable and i think that if you can afford it, thats a really nice gesture to offer to your guests! Yourenot forcing them to wear them but offering them as an option if their feet hurt. Ive worn shoes i thought were comfy to a wedding but either too many hrs of dancing changed that or i even hadmyheel break once! i would have been thrilled to have this option!  Also, I wear slipper boots year round inside my air conditioned house…i dont think theyll be too hot.
