I ran a half marathon this morning! I managed to finish under my goal time of 2.5 hours. My pace was slower than I hoped, but I had some major GI issues from mile 3 to 8, which slowed me up a bit. All things I can work on for my next one!

Congrats!! I ran one half-marathon with some of my best friends. Though I don’t know if I ever want to do it again, I treasure the memory.

Thanks everyone. I’m incredibly sore, but otherwise very happy and proud. I can’t wait to do another.
@KelsieLea7: No, it was the Greater Binghamton Bridge Run in Binghamton, NY

CONGRATS!!!! Such a great accomplishment. How are you feeling today? I remember being that crazy girl stretching all over the office as much as two days after my first half. Your legs need it.
ps Even though the race is over you should still be drinking more water than usual to replenish.
pps I did my first 40-mile bike race yesterday and need to take my own advice, it’s always so much easier to give, isn’t it? Thirsty and my legs are SORE.
