And it was a lot of fun! Serioulsy ladies, I am NOT a very artsy person, I can barely draw a stick figure, but I was able to make this. And it was cheap!
I got all the stuff at Michaels, and it cost under $10 bucks. Not bad for a cake topper eh?
So here are my supplies, the wooden couple, a pencil, acrylic paint, some brushes, some water to clean the brushes and my instructions!
Then I took the pencil and outlined my Bride and Groom, it took a lot of tries and erases, but then I went with a design I liked. I did front and back.
Then I colored in the spaces I needed. I did some mixing when it came to the skin tone, but Im very happy with it! I came as close as I could to our outfits!
Its really not that hard! Im very pleased with the finished product! I did a lot of zooming to get the detail, the actual size of each wooden person is about 2 inches tall.
