I forget too!!!! I say I’m 29 but the ages 27-29 sort of blended together for me… I honestly can’t wait to be 30!! I am soo excited about 30 because I get to be sexy and fantastic and fun!  Well sexier, more fantastic, and the most fun!  I guess I see a lot of financial independence in my 30s as well.  I am in my own business etc and smart enough not to buy into the materialistic traps that I fell into in my 20s and now I am coming into my own so to speak…

@honeybun – I was SOOOOO embarassed, and it’s not easy to embarass me!! I have NO idea what I was thinking… that’s a 10 year difference! And it’s like he knew I would be embarassed, so he whispered. I then spent ten minutes trying to convince him that I’m not an idiot. I don’t think it worked.

I am 22, and thought to myself the other day that I was 21. Not that big of deal, but it was still funny to me, when I told Fiance and he was like “Wait….you’re 22, not 21.” and I was like “Oh yea, that’s right.” hahaha. I’ve only been 22 since July so that might be why. Oh well. I think it happens to a lot of people.

Laylabelle- That is too funny, but hey it happens to the best of us =]. I always seem to make myself sound more like an idiot when I try to make myself look like I’m not, haha oh well.

I always have to stop and calculate when people ask.  Thank goodness I was born in a year ending in a zero.

For the WHOLE year my mum was 42 she thought she was 43. She honestly didn’t realize until her birthday rolled around and we all pointed out she was turning 43. So, for the next year she considered herself 42, as she’d “missed it” the first time around.

All that to say, it happens to the best of us!

This happens to me ALL the time, but it’s because in Korea your age is always 1 or 2 years older than international age.  Everyone turns a year older at the same time (Lunar New Years) and everyone is 1 when they are born.  Therefore, because my birthday is at the end of Oct. I’m usually two years older than I ‘really’ am.  At the moment, Canadians say I am 29 while Koreans say I’m 30…but before my birthday the difference was 28/30.  So when people ask me my age I have to stop and think….which age are you asking?

FI’s birthday is usually right around the time of the Lunar New Year.  So in 2008 he was 34 one day, 35 the next day, and 36 the day after that!
