I was walking on the sidewalk and noticed something in the brush on the side of the road. It was a human leg from about the knee down. It was really dirty and the bit of fabric on it kind of looked bloody. I had a hard time telling, but I’m pretty sure it the leg from a mannequin. Even though it’s fake it was pretty disturbing. Should I call someone and tell them about it? and if so who should I call? I live in the twin cities.

That is creepy. I would call the police department.

I’m truly shocked that you would need to ask.
You can always tell the police that it may be a mannequin part, but that you were too frightened to check.

I would call the police just to be on the safe side and to make sure it doesn’t creep anyone else out.

EW! Yes I would def call the police.
That is just creepy!

Its your civic duty to report it, in the event that it IS real. It’s ok that you weren’t comfortable to check, but in the event that the leg is someone’s missing family member it’s best that you report it immediately.

You had a pretty eventful walk today huh? Personally I would have posted this BEFORE I posted about all of the weddings I saw (after calling the police of course). GIRL, PICK UP THE DARN PHONE AND CALL THE POLICE DEPARTMENT!

You should definitely call the police.

Um, yes you should call the police if you find a bloody leg in the woods.

@KatyElle: +1 (also, I’m laughing. In horror, but… yeah.)

yeah, call the police. Non-emergency line, but just say you found what might be a human limb, but might not be. NBD.
Once my mom and I found a dude that was minutes from death on the side of a little country highway my parents live off of. So creepy.
