Hey Bees! Long time no posting but its good to be back! Almost three months ago I fell down a flight of stairs in my house and broke my neck. Chef and I were talking about getting engaged and I really felt that it was going to happen before spring… that was of course until the accident. Well post fall, after surgery, and during the initial recovery we obviously put the engagement talk on the back burner- until now. We have started talking a bit more and more about the engagement and I am getting excited again! Today I even went into the city (a big feat for me since I now have a cane) and went into the jewlery store and got pampered trying on potential engagement rings.
I have been looking at the petitite tiffany soilatire from moissaniteandco and I think/hope Chef knows thats the one I like, but not being able to see it in person had me a bit stressed. I went to Steven Singer Jeweler and they had a perfect replica of my ring! (I suppose a simple solitaire isn’t that hard to replicate though) The band on the ring was 1.4mm, 6 prongs, and a 1.5 center stone (sz 5.5).
For the first time in a long time, I had a great day. I had fun being pampered, but I had the most fun envisioning my guy popping the question.
Hope I’m not a waiting bee too much longer!
