And had to share. I went this weekend with the women-folk of my family and his. It took an hour and a half to find my dress and two bridesmaids dresses. I tried on 4 and ended up with the first one! AND I got an incredible deal on it. Super happy about it. I also get to wear my great-great grandma’s faux pearl necklace from the early 1920’s! It’s beautiful. So here is my dress, and the lovely ladies I went with. The red color dress is my actual Bridesmaid or Best Man dress color and style for Bridesmaid or Best Man #1, but the green is the style Bridesmaid or Best Man #2 will be wearing, just in red.

Sorry, it wouldn’t let me post the second picture. I LOVE the back of this dress the most. As you can see in this picture, I am ready for the flood and had to order extra length for my dress.

Love the dress! I actually tried it on, but I am too short (and perhaps have a few extra pounds than I should have), but you look AMAZING in it!

@Miss Smurf Thank you 😀 I really exspected the whole event to have more wailing and gnashing of teeth but it went really well. I am not nearly as skinny as this dress makes me look, which is alright with me!

@chasesgirl: Is that the Alfred Angelo or David’s Bridal dress. I tried on the Alfred Angelo one, it’s a very serene design.

@CatyLady: Davids Bridal. I did notice they both had very similar designs but then again, it is pretty plain so that isn’t that unusual.
