I am a true plus size girl and I was worried I wouldn’t find a beautiful dress that actually looked good on me, but I did! I love my dress and wanted to share it with those here.
I am thinking about having that large bow removed from the back only. I like the part in the front. Here’s what it would look like with no bow.
What do you think? I got my dress at David’s Bridal so they won’t remove thw bow because it would be altering the design of the dress. So that means I would have to find someone to do it for me. I didn’t expect to love this dress. I always wanted white and simple, but this is an ivory and champagne dress and I loved the way the color looked on me. I had added it to my favorites online, but I really didn’t love the look of it on the website. I can’t wait to walk down the aisle in it and see my fiance’s face! I hope he loves it as much as I do!

Wonderful dress! It looks SOOOO pretty 🙂
If you don’t like the bow in the back, see if they can snip the sash in the back, and sew it to the edge of the seam next to the corset, so you will still see the lace-up back.

Oh no I saw keep the bow, I love the long tails. Your dress looks great on you, really beautiful. The detail on the train is just lovely, your Fi will love it 🙂

Beautiful! Congratulations on finding your dress! I agree with you about the bow. However, I’m not sure I would only leave the front part. Perhaps you could find a seamstress who could shorten the back of it or make that more narrow? The challenge will be keeping most of that pretty beading while doing that, however.
Even if you do need to keep the bow, I think your dress is beautiful and looks lovely on you!

Lovely! Looks beautiful on you! I can’t picture how it would look to have the sash just stop on the side seam so I don’t know if I’d remove. Although, I agree with you that the back looks a little better without it. But even if you keep it, the dress looks wonderful on you, congrats!
