That was only $300? It’s beautiful! I don’t think it would hurt to play around with belts and see if they add to the gown, and if they don’t, no harm done. 🙂 Congrats on finding such a beautiful dress!

I think its really lovely and you could do an amazing headdress or something with it! Or gorgeous jewellery. Also a beautiful intricate hairstyle or something. A lot of dresses you can’t do that with as the dress takes all the attention this one allows lots of other options. If your not a big flashy person then a big flashy dress wont be you. This is gorgeous and shows your figure off perfectly!

Girl it is so classy! It flatters your body so well and since it is simple there is no room for it to outshine your natural beauty. Plus since it is such a casual setting you’ll stand out without looking over the top. Try a skinny belt or a larger necklace but like above if it doesn’t add anything no harm done.

No belt, that wouldn’t look great with the bust detail in my opinion. I would so a soft side updo, a statment necklace and a blingy bracelet.

annainweddingland: If I can add to the comments.. NO BELT please… it doesn’t fit the look of the dress. I feel like bridal boutiques have pushes belts so much that now every adds a belt to try and jazz up a dress, and sometimes it makes it look off. Your dress may be un-blinged but its beautiful as it. You don’t need “bling” to have a great bridal look!

I think the dress is beautiful! It reminds me of the mori lee voyage collection-poetic lace. I couldnt find your exact dress, but I am pretty sure its from that line.

The dress sounds perfect for your wedding and looks AMAZING on you! A thin belt would be pretty, but not nessisary. Congrats on your wonderful find!

annainweddingland: or as my Bridesmaid or Best Man said jack it up. I was so confused and she was like “you know, jack it up from say yes to the dress”. I suffer with an illness called brain farts so i am super slow at registering things.

Anyways your gorgeous!

As was mentioned, the bust detail and belt might no go great together, but if you wanted a little more sparkle or interest, you could maybe ask your seamstress to add another trim of your choice along that lower tuck or even use a brooch/pendant to accent the center peak.

love the all-over lace look and that’s such a great price! enjoy!

Looks beautiful on you. I think a lot of brides second guess themselves, at least I know I did. Just do some nice accessories and try the belt, see how it looks
