Buy it and say its a ball dress. Then when you get engaged you just happen to already have the perfect dress that you have not had the opportunity to wear yet!

Buy it! If you don’t, the world will cry. That is seriously one of the most beautiful, stunning dresses that I have ever seen.

Wow I love it! That back is absolutely dramatic and gorgeous! I’m not sure if you should buy it or not, but you definitely have awesome taste! Hope you make a decision that you are happy with and that your boyfriend doesn’t wait too much longer!

Usually, I’d caution you to wait but I did a little thread stalking and see that he’s got the ring and you’re just waiting for the proposal. Since it’s definitely coming, I’d say go ahead and buy if you don’t think you can wait. You may want to ask the seller if it’s possible to recreate the same dress, though – because then you’d know if it did get sold in the meantime, she can always make a new one?

You know, or just buy it and have it stored somewhere he’s not gonna find it lol.

I say buy it!! If you feel that strongly (and rightly so, it’s stunning) about it, there’s no harm in getting it. I’m not superstitious either, I would get a dress if I knew it was the one. I’m not engaged yet either, anniversary is also next week, but I have bought my wedding shoes. It was an amazing deal and I knew instantly they were the ones.

I say buy it–worst case, if your boyfriend doesn’t propose or takes a while, you’ll still love it and you could stick it in your closet until you are engaged. Best case, you have one less thing to worry about in a few weeks. That means more time to stare at your sparkly left hand.

Sorry you missed it! It’s a gorgeous dress though! And at least now you know what you’re looking for once you get engaged!

@SillyStacey:  Its probably for the best anyways. Now you can be picky about the fabric since it will be custom made 😀

That dress is gorgeous, especially the beadwork. I’m a sucker for details in a dress, and that definitely has a TON of detail. Anyway, yeah I’d get it if she makes another one. At least now you know what your dream dress looks like. One thing less to check off the list when you get engaged.

I am definitely not engaged and I bought my dream dress preowned on ebay because it was the size and length I was looking for and such a deal!  If something happens I will resell it but I just couldn’t pass it up!  If you found what you love then definitely go for it!
