I tried on dresses for the very first time yesterday and walked away with mine! This shopping trip was meant for looking only, but when I found the one, I knew I didn’t want to look anymore!
Its Casablanca – 1948, in the two-toned ivory/champagne color. I love it so much! I wanted lace and straps, and I got satin and strapless! Figures!
Anyway, here it is! Can’t wait to try it on when it fits properly! Also, I’m having it made with an A-line skirt instead of the slight mermaid like the sample. I don’t want to be self conscious about my tummy all day.
The champagne “stripe” runs down the front of the dress
And the train is the champagne color as well

I love casablanca! Even though it’s not all-over lace, you still have a nice little touch of lace at the bottom. My dress is from casablanca also, and it’s the same way. Love it!

Thanks everyone! Its so fun to finally post my dress!
I thought the lace detailing at the bottom was a nice compromise. I didn’t even look at Casablanca dresses before shopping, but those were the ones I loved the most! They did great things for my figure!
