This dress is GORGEOUS on u! I love it! Can’t wait to see how it looks on u when its UR size!!!
Mine is also a champagne colored underlay which I never thought I would do so I understand UR feeling, I also bought mine SUPER early, July of 2015 for my Oct 2016 wedding. but I love it now even more than I did when I first bought it so I really doubt U will have regret if U love it this much! Don’t worry!

sweetpea1002: Love your dress! I did the same yesterday and glad I did!! I had no intention of finding or buying my dress (Wed date is 7/28/17) yet I was off from work and a local bridal shop was having an Allure Trunk show so I figured why not, lets just browse. Ya well browsing turned into finding my dress-1st dress I tried on! I tried on several others and liked them as well, yet felt completley partial to mine and couldnt stop thinking about it. At the end of the day, I do not regret doing it early. I actually feel a huge weight has been lifted and have noticed a pattern of me picking vendors quickly as well. I do not like making decisions and hate harping on them for quite some time. I think if you love the dress, you love it and know it and other dressses will not stand in the way.

If it’s everything you ever wanted, then it’s the one! Yay!
The only thing you need to be sure about is the colour. I love champagne but that seems to be the only part I could see you changing your mind about as it’s a change from your initial plan. Have you actually tried both colours? Track one down in ivory or white at another shop if you need to. Also be sure it matches your colour scheme and bridesmaids’ dresses and overall vision of your wedding.
But it’s beautiful on you!

I think you have found the dess! The champagne compliments your complexion and shows the exquisite detail of the lace. That dress looks like a million bucks. You have time on your side so I would wait to buy the dress it is not going anywhere and you can search to find a good deal. You may find it on sale in a few months because it came out spring 2015. I would check again this fall.
Dress regret? For me it is “dress what-ifs” I love my dress but I also loved another dress that was about $900 more. So, being the practical bride that I am I could not justify spending more and I went with the less expensive one. But I keep thinking…what If I had chose the other dress? If I hit the Lotto (which wont happen because I dont play) Im going to get it on rush delivery! One thing I do wish I did was try on more Allure dresses. I relaized my top 2 dresses were both Allure! They make beautiful and affordable gowns.

qIt isvery early on but that dressis a stunner. I’m not sure if I ever saw such a pretty lace pattern. And the back, so so beautiful. I’m sure you will give lots of bees dress regret 😀
But are you sure it is the one?? There is so much time left for dress regret, I know I would question it no matter how much in love I am. But that’s me. If you can stay away from magazines, blogs, bridal stores and so on go for it! I also would talk to the store to see for how long they can guarantee to order it. I would make my decision from there.

Thank you all so much for your input! And your compliments!! Today was such a wonderful day. I’m going to wait it out for a while (but I really think it’s the one :)) if I can’t get it out of my head in a couple months I’ll seal the deal!

I found my dress for my September 2015 wedding in January 2014. I purchased the sample August 2014.

I am an Allure 9215 bride, so we would be dress twins! It took me months and 10 different bridal shops to say yes to the dress, but once I did I was so happy with my decision! For me, it was a vey frustrating process, so I would say that if you know you love it, you should commit as soon as possible and save yourself the hassle! A couple of notes on the dress: it has been around for a couple of years so I wouldn’t wait too much longer to place your order should you choose to purchase (designers will discontinue their dresses without warning). Second, the dress also comes in ivory on ivory (which is what I ordered). I loved the champagne on ivory as well but had always dreamed of a white dress. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it as well, but my dress came in a couple of weeks ago and I love it even more!

sweetpea1002: I bought my dress a year before my wedding day, and yes, I did have dress regret. But I think it was because I couldn’t try the dress on and then it was quite big. Once I’d had it fitted I was more in love than i was when I bought it, and on my day I felt perfect.
So I’d say trust your gut. If you love it now, you will probably love it on your wedding day (even if there were to be some bumps.in between). Also, you don’t want to not buy it, have it run out, and then regret the fact that you didn’t buy it.

I agree. Dresses get discontinued and regretting not buying a dress you now can’t get is probably worse than having paid for a dress you’re not sure about in my opinion. At least you can sell an excess dress!
That being said, shop around a bit more now so you’re sure. I’m just saying I wouldn’t wait a year in case it’s not in the next season!

I’ll be getting married a couple of months after you and am going dress shopping very soon as well. I’ve been told this can be an advantage because we’ll have both the current 2016 collections to choose from, and the 2017 collections at the end of the year. I was advised that if I so happen to fall in love with a 2016 dress, that I can probably get it much cheaper by waiting till closer to 2017. Of course this is all just advice so I’m just as excited and nervously confused as to how to avoid dress regret as you are! 😜
