My Future Brother-In-Law is getting married this weekend, and since we’re in town my Future Mother-In-Law took me dress shopping. I really wasn’t expecting to find anything, I had tried on so many dresses before, but after this one was on me, I just didn’t want to take it off, and I didn’t want to try on any others! What do you ladies think?
It doesn’t have a train but Future Mother-In-Law says that she can take down one of the folds in the back to make it a bit longer in the back, but since it’s going to be a garden wedding anyway, I don’t want too much dress hanging down behind me for the ceremony.

Woo hoo! That looks AMAZING! Look at your itty bitty waist!!
I just chopped the train off my dress for my outdoor wedding, I think less train will be so much easier 🙂

@aprilsixteenth: Haha thanks! I just love corset ball gowns for that reason. I’m glad someone else thinks less of a train is better! It’s the only thing that was bothering me when I was thinking about the dress! Helps put my mind at ease a bit 🙂

Thanks everybody! I’m pretty excited that we just got it off the rack and that it doesn’t need alterations, so it’s hanging out at FMIL’s house until closer to the wedding. I keep wanting to take it out of the bag and look at it more, haha!

I think that dress is perfect for you! It just…matches you.
Now, just don’t look at any other dresses! There is no need for dress regret with this dress. lol

I know that I need to not look at more dresses, but with all the blogs and magazines I read daily I doubt I wouldn’t look at more, but I won’t be trying on more! I know I have a very specific dress I like on me- the ball gown, skirt starting to poof at the waist, and the very defined line at the waist- and the only other dresses I’ve seen like that are just waaay out of my price range, I think I can be good 🙂 I can always come back to this thread and read again how it’s so good for me, and I think that can help with any doubts!
