So I decided on my shoes thanks to the help of fellow bees. Thanks! I think their beautiful. However, these are my first pair of slingbacks and I noticed even though the shoe fits, the sling or strap does not lay securely against the back of my foot. It is very loose and there is no buckle to tighten it. Since they fit everywhere else I don’t think a smaller size is going to fix the problem. Any suggestions? Pics below

If you are concerned with them slipping off when you walk, you could try to take them to a cobbler. THey may be able to either 1) shorten the elastic gore to make it tighter, or 2) eliminate the gore and add a buckle to the end of one strap and holes to the other strap. If it doesn’t feel like the sling back will slip when you walk, I’d just leave it as is. Good luck!

This is why I don’t like sling backs 🙁

I’ve had this happen…mostly because I have very very narrow ankles. I put a tiny piece of double stick tape on the underside of the strap and it’s worked very well.
