I am so excited! I finally found a pair of teal peep-toe pumps that I really like! Only problem? It is $8 more for the teal rather than the white and the teal has yellow gold on it… I will be wearing silver and white gold. I hate ordering online because if it doesn’t fit or feels uncomfortable I can’t really exchange it… Oh, and I am dirt poor. But they are my wedding shoes so slurging is okay right? I mean, they are $20 less than my wedding dress and I got that on a steal! (a whopping $98) So, worth it? I have considered getting the white but my dress is ivory and it might look off and make my dress look less white. What do you think?
EDIT: Okay, I am sold on the teal. I couldn’t even convince myself the white was worth saving $8. But the question still remains, are shoes ever really worth $68? I mean, that is a lot of money for a college kid working part time! But they are sooo pretty…

Get the teal ones! $8 is not THAT much more and quite honestly, white would clash waaaaay more with your ivory dress than that tiny little bit of yellow gold on the rhinestone.

i would go with the teal. the little bit of yellow gold is barely going to be noticable when you’re wearing them. and, as far as the $8, i would chalk it up to being worth it for getting the ones you actually want. but, i guess the white depends on the ivory of your dress – is it barely ivory, because then i dont think it would matter – but if its closer to yellow ivory, then i think they would stick out
ps – super cute shoes!

I say go for it! It is your wedding day you should have the shoes you really want!

Ohh! I just found the same pair on another website for $50. That is a little more reasonable. Outside what I had budgeted for shoes but still… cheaper.

@kfricke89: oh and the new website has free shipping too – score!

Go for the teal! No one will be able to notice the little bit of yellow instead of silver around the rhinestone.

The teal are absolutely gorgeous. Go for it. If you had $8 in your hand right now, there’s feck all you could get for it in real terms, right? Get the pretty shoes!
And PP is right, you’d notice the white/ivory contrast before you’d see the gold issue.

@kfricke89: The teal ones are great and the $8 isnt a biggie. As for the gold, I wouldnt worry, its really only a small detal that will be under your dress. Its perfectly fine to have a little silver and gold!

The teal ones, definitely. Yes, its worth the money – these are your wedding shoes. You need to find out if they’re dyed. If they are, then you cannot exchange them if they are not comfortable.
I ordered mine off of a website and took the chance (because I wanted blue shoes so bad and I was limited since I’m flat foot). lol And it turned out ok. (I got lucky). If you cant exchange them, try to find them (in any color) at a store near you so you can atlesat try them on before ordering.
