I tried on dresses at a local shop a few weeks ago, ordered one, non-refundable non-exchangeable. It’s a no-name brand so the odds of being able to re-sell it are low.
After I got home and saw photos I just couldn’t help but feel like it wasn’t all that flattering. I found one on Etsy that is the wedding dress of my DREAMS.
Technically I can afford to buy another dress, but it’s so wasteful. And what if I order the one I’m in love with and I hate it? It’s pictured on a real bride, but one who is thinner than me (she looks to be a 0-2 street size and I’m a 4-6. I want to lose 15 lbs by our wedding 1 year from now which would bring me back down to a 2 though).
Help! I’m so torn. Has anyone else gone through this?

I’m going through the same thing as we speak! I just now put my first dress up for sale and just ordered my other dress. I can afford to have them both ( luckily both were on sale and cheap!) but keeping my fingers crossed that my original dress sells. Right before I ordered my 2nd dress I was having second thoughts, but I looked at the pictures again and I was lucky enough to have a chance to try it on and I KNEW that was the one.

First–make sure your Etsy seller is legit. Really, really make sure!
Then, if they pass, go buy your dream dress!
