- Wedding: July 2013
I did not think it was going to happen. I am very particular plus I used to do pageants so I was iffy about what I would do about a wedding dress. I found her on my first day of dress shopping and I could not get her out of my mind all week so I went back and bought her.
THe second time I tried her on, my aunt, mom, Maid/Matron of Honor and cousin were with me. I tried on two dresses that were similar. The Maggie Sottero Adalee and a Casablanca dress. I am a Dirty Delete so I thought I was going to have to get the Casablanca and settle but after standing in the mirror admiring the Maggie, the seamstress came over and told me that she would try to make the top fit better. Maggie does not have large cup sizes, so going up in a dress size would have only made the cups wider instead of deeper. So the seamstress added just a little bit of piping onto the top and it made all the difference. Now, I not only love the dress (loved it the first time) BUT…I even cried when I tried it on. I loved it at first but after she fixed the top, I felt good in it. I felt confident. I did not want to look trashy with large boobies on my wedding day and its hard to find a dress to fit so I was elated when she fixed it. I am beyond excited and wanted to share!
What do you think? Also, I need a belt. I LOVE bling. The belt shown is $450…and I really like it but dont want to spend that much on it…any ideas on a different belt?
