I accidently found the ring tonight, and I am freaking out. It’s driving me nuts knowing it’s just a few feet away (hidden in a computer bag!) but I really don’t want to ruin the moment for him–I know he’s really hoping to surprise me. I found a small jewelry bag, and I looked in it far enough to see the box, and the resizing recipt–but I stopped myself from actually opening the box and looking at it.
I need some strength to stay away from that computer bag!
Anyone else here stumble upon the ring by accident before he proposed? I am so eagerly looking forward to the proposal and I don’t want to ruin it…but the suspense is killing me! 🙂

Don’t look! It’ll be so much more special to let him surprise you! And at least now you know he has the ring, so it probably won’t be too much longer.
Remove yourself for a bit if you have to – maybe go for a drive or something, or go to bed.

Girl, I wouldn’t have been able to stop myself from looking if I stumbled upon a ring in my bfs possesion. You already have waaaay more self-control than I do… you can do it!

We live together, and the jeweler sent us a flyer that said “Thank you for your business”….Ooops! lol I left it in the mailbox so he would think I didnt see it, but I knew he had the ring. He didnt propose for 4 months after that! lol

haha We went on vacation and I was unpacking his bag and I felt a weird rectangular box wrapped in a shirt. I was like UHHHHH and put it back. He froze when he came into the room and saw his bag on the bed and rooted through it and asked if I was in there. I said I started to unpack but decided the water bottles needed to go into the fridge. To distract him I asked him if he was hiding a dildo in there because he was acting weird.
I admit I was more cuddly and kissy once I found the box though! haha Be careful or he might catch on. When he actally got on one knee, girl my heart was POUNDING!
