I have tried on a million dresses that I have loved…but I find something wrong with every single one of them OR I get bored of it within a week and I want to find a new one. The ones I feel like I wouldnt get bored of are the $5-10 K ones and even then…i prolly will get fored of. I hate dress shopping and I thought it was going to be my favorite part. No one wants to come with me so im bored even when I do go…and the few times someones come it is a different person so they cant properly compare dresses I’ve tried on.

I feel the same, but I actually PURCHASED 3! The first one I bought just because I felt like it was what a wedding dress should look like, it fit me, and the price was good. IMMEDIATE dress regret and no returns allowed. Dress#2 I absolutely LOVED…at the time. I bought it 3 years ago, and then we postponed our wedding. I was planning on wearing it now that we’re finally getting married, but now it totally underwhelms me. So, I purchased used from Ebay. BIG MISTAKE. Hated it, but was lucky enough to be able to return it. So, now I am trying to pick out my FINAL wedding dress, and nothing can keep my interest long enough for me to commit. It’s so hard.
The only supportive thing I can suggest is to at least buy a dress that you feel great in. I know not everyone has that “dress moment,” but you can at least look great in whatever you end up in, whether it’s your dream dress or not. Personally, picking the dress has been the LEAST fun part for me, but at the end of the day as long as I marry my love, I know that it wasn’t for nothing!

I feel that way now! I bought a dress, and now I’m not sure that I really want to wear it on my wedding day.

same here…after having a ballgown that got ruined courtesy of DAVIDS BRIDAL I had to pick another out…. now stuck with this fit and flare, mermaid style ,. I really want AA cinderella, I felt like a princess and had my whole look come alive when i put it on Sat.:) I had never envisioned that until I slipped into it. Even though it was 10 sizes too big and in ivory, I want white and a 2. I LOVE IT!!!

@bbutterfly: I definitely started getting bored with dresses until I found the one I ended up with, which was anything but boring :). You still have some time, maybe take a couple weeks away from dress shopping to give yourself a break.

@bbutterfly: I can sorta relate. if you’re like me, there isn’t as much emotion attached to the dress. I picked at every single one i tried on. I felt like I kept seeing the same styles over and over and I didn’t want to blend in. I recommend trying something you never considered, that’s how I found mine.
