No, and you’re a bad, bad person for doing it.

Seriously, though–Relax. Everyone hits the wedding wall. It’s necessary to step back and take time for yourself. Even if there were no centerpieces, I think you and your guests would survive 🙂

I still have 3 months to go but I just had to give up last week on the perfect wedding.  I gotta tell you, it’s been great.

I think you just need a break (3 or 4 days) and then reprioritize what you think is important to accomplish.  And don’t forget that you can DELEGATE.  Who says you have to decide floral? If it’s not important to you, let your Maid/Matron of Honor or a friend/aunt take care of it and you just provide the CC. Programs can be done and printed in less than 30 minutes.  As for content, time to deleage to your darling hubbie to be. Dresses….I can’t help you with that as that might actually be important if you don’t want to walk down the aisle naked.

Oh, and have a dance off in your living room and drink champagne.  You can call it ‘practice’.  😉

Not Doritos, but I totally just ate way too much ice cream, curled up in bed, and watched crappy tv on netflix.  Instead of the five million things I should be doing (most importantly, my term papers that are due next week…)

Yep! I should really be studying for my finals next week as well as getting everything ready for our Destination Wedding (leaving in 18 days!) but at this point I’ve had to wait so long to do the stuff I was excited about that I just don’t really care anymore.

I’m just the opposite..I only have 2 small things left to do and I am infront of the tv wishing I had more stuff to do! I’m bored! I have 16 days left and no more projects to occupy my time! Fiance  has made me promise no more projects. But I keep checking the DYI section here….just “looking” lol

@WillyNilly:  I couldn’t agree with you more! I am actually resigning to having an anti-wedding  industry event! Already lined up a great caterer who is taking care of all of the food, drink, tent, table and chair rental stuff so everyone will have fantastic food, beverages and a place to sit while they eat. Beyond that – whatever! If I feel like hiring a florist between now and then, great! If it doesn’t happen and I don’t have centerpieces, no one is going to care! I have made a conscious decision to make this a low stress, FUN celebration! We have the necessities, the rest will just beicing on the cake (literally!). Yeah, I talk a good game only time will tell if I panic in the end and go all out and curse myself for not doing everything earlier but I hope that isn’t the direction I go in!

@globalmargaret:  I remember those days when I didn’t think anything would be done in time. Fiance has been great and helped with many things. My dress is safely tucked away at the Maid/Matron of Honor house and I made all the flowers and favors and guest book . There has to be something else to do! Lol… Send me your stuff!!!! Lol
