shops so we were basically stuck with whatever we brought. Here’s where it gets bad. At like 3:00 in the morning the night before our wedding, we here gunshots at night. 3 men with guns barged in and started rummaging through our rooms. My fiancee was sleeping in a different bedroom and the girls and I were all sleeping in one side of the hotel because we wanted to get ready together and surprise him with my dress on our wedding day. The three guys quickly took almost everything and put it in garbage bags. My phone and camera were taken but the thing that stung the most was losing my wedding dress. The robbers took all of our clothes, jewelry, and makeup and left before my fiancee and his friends could get there. I broke down in tears and was miserable for the rest of the night. My fiancee is the most upbeat, loving man I ever met. In the morning he proposed that we carry on the wedding and have a proper one later. The bridesmaids agreed to this despite being stuck in their nighttime clothes too. We didn’t have much to get ready with but tried to make due. We spent about three hours trying to look nice. I tried to fix my hair the way I wanted too even without spray and we adjusted whatever we were wearing to look less disheveled. My nightgown was white so I kept some kind of bridal look lol. All of our makeup bags were gone so the ladies had to go barefaced. In the end we still looked like crap the compliments and coping did help lol. The actual wedding wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected. I was less than confidant but happy everyone was safe. I guess I learned something about being thankful because I don’t even mind the photos!

- Wedding: May 2019 - City, State
I distinctly remember the first part being on an episode of a crime documentary…which turned out to be a BS story to cover something up

Let me guess, this is your first post too. 🙄

brittanyd99 : So they managed to take every single piece of clothing for every single person? So 3-4 overnight bags plus wedding and bridesmaids dresses which I assume were hanging up. Plus everyones make up bag etc etc. Unless they made repeated trips to a waiting car I am doubtful on the info you have provided. And since they fired their guns I am sure police were notified and that does not leave much time to take everything x 3 plus people especially spread out over a room or two.

…another plot that simply won’t sell.
I do hope these people pitching their bad writing have day jobs.
Hey, don’t give up on the dream; keep on working. Plenty of great craft books out there can teach you how to write believable/ relatable/ meaningful/ suspenseful scenarios.

This was written by someone who has never experienced the trauma of actual crime in their life.

brittanyd99 : What a terrifying and unusual experience! I just have a couple of questions so I can understand clearly a few things..
1. Where was this location? It must have been incredibly, incredibly remote for gunshots to be fired and no police to come?!! And also that there were no absolutely no shops whatsoever nearby?!
2. Did the hotel not offer you any free beauty treatment/makeup/any clothing from the gift shop or anything else at all to compensate you for this horrible experience?
3. I wonder why the gunmen would take several makeup bags? Any ideas on this?
4. How long were you staying in this very remote location with no shops nearby, that you only had a wedding dress and nightgown with you? And could none of your guests/parents etc be advised of what had happened and asked to bring you any clothing?

brittanyd99 : you posted the exact same thing on here 24 hours ago and got no response so you came back and reposted it again. 🙄
This so didn’t happen. You had theives that stole your make up and clothing!!? It reminds me of that episode of the golden girls where they get broken into and had valuables stolen but Sophia petrillo decides she needs some new outfits with the insurance money and tells everyone they stole her clothing too!!
Are you pulling a Sophia?? Do you need a new wardrobe?? Did you think writing a post about it on a wedding site will be proof to your insurance company so you can buy a new dress?? Honestly this is the only thing I can think of as to why you’d start an obviously fake post like this?? If you were trying to stir the hive, you are doing a piss poor job of it because this post is faker than a fendi bag being sold at a market stall in Thailand. 😂
