I proposed to my Fiance last November after we designed her ring, and it has taken me this long to design mine I originally wanted an authentic art deco ring, but I just couldn’t find the right one so we decided to custom design mine as well. We both used our mothers’ diamonds from their engagement rings, modest round half carat stones, and now we have two beautiful heirloom rings to pass along to our children. I couldn’t decide between a baguette halo (more vintage) or a regular modern one so my mom suggested to do both. I fell in love with the idea after seeing some designs online and went for it.
When it was finished, Fiance didn’t want to just hand me my ring, so she had been secretly choreographing a dance piece for the last couple months (she danced for 13 years, and at one time was one of the best dancers in the country!). Future Mother-In-Law and I were looking at her rose garden (distracting me), then she clipped a rose for me and told me to turn around. The music came on, and Fiance started dancing. It was the perfect moment! I cried, she cried, it finally feels official now!
so without further ado… some pics!
