A couple of years ago I tore a picture out of modern bride magazine or these gold lace boots. I loved the boots so much that I kept the tear sheet in hopes that I’d find them. Well I found them but unfortunately they were $8,000 so that wasn’t going to happen. But I thought I’d find a knock off or shoes that were very similar. My back up plan was purple shoes cause my colors are plum purple and gold. And I found a lot of purple shoes but held out cause I just knew I’d find what I was really wanting. Finally… I found them!!! Badgley Mischka came out with their “Olaf” shoe. They’re booties instead of boots but they are also gold and lace. They arrived today and their perfect!!! My wedding will be in January and it’s a vintage theme… I can’t wait! In case anyone is planning on BM’s- order a half size up.
Let me know what y’all think. The picture looks a bit dark. The leather on the edges are more gold and the ribbon is a copper gold. So unique and cute!

Very unique! I’d love to see your dress, too, because a vintage theme sounds beautiful.

I attached my dress- Waters brides Torreon dress. I’m wearing Bonzie’s Gabrielle bolero over it, which is on etsy. And instead of a veil I’ll wear a cocktail hat. Everything is finally coming together! The last picture is Monique Ihullier’s magical which is what I modeled everything after.

I just saw these in Brides magazine! I lusted after them a bit, despite the fact that they wouldn’t go with my dress at all.

Thanks everyone!
They were in Brides Magazine? Thats cool! I wondered if anyone would think they were “bride enough” but looks like they do!
