You usually put it on like nylons/tights and most spanx come with a area where you can just flip it open and use the bathroom. So real no need to wear underwear

Be careful not to break a wrist putting those ****ing things on…. omg it’s absurdly funny.

I’ve bought a variety of spanx and spanx-like items in my time, and my advice is to make sure they are the right size! I have bought spanx that were too small, and I ended up looking like a stuffed sausage and my stomach hurt sooo much! Make sure you’re not going too small. I wear mine with underwear, just because I don’t think it’s hygenic not to. I don’t have ones that “flip” open but I know you can get ones that do. It really just depends on the shape, size and coverage. You can buy full body ones, you can buy ones that cover your tummy, just your thighs, etc. The ones I wear most often are like bicycle shorts basically, because the stomach ones tend to make me feel ill and they itch.

Anyway, you might need to investigate a few options before you find the perfect pair!

HAHA, do it one leg at a time and VERY carefully. I’ve worn underwear with mine every time I’ve had to wear Spanx, but I’ve never had the ultra-full-body-coverage ones. I have the top-of-the-thigh-to-under-bust ones (like the shorts-type Spanx) and just pulled them down to go to the bathroom. But yeah, putting them on is hilarious (and hilariously difficult). Good luck!
