Okay, so I got my band tonight. I’m pretty sure Fiance knew I would have murdered him if he kept it from me, so he brought it to me before my night class.
The story: The diamonds in this ring are from a ring, a set of earrings, and a pendant my grandmother left me before she passed away. My mom suggested I use the diamonds out of these. I thought it would be a tribute to her since she wouldn’t be at the wedding and the start of an heirloom. So, the man that trims my horses also makes jewelry and I have some other pieces by him that I really loved and I suggested the idea to him and this is what he produced:
He also hooked Fiance up with an awesome deal on my e-ring pictured.
I LOVE it!

That’s beautiful and I love that the stones were from your grandmother.
By The Way…go East TN–I went to college and lived there for several years afterward. One of the most beautiful places on earth. 🙂

@AmeliaBedelia: Thank you! I think it’s great that it’s the only one like it in the world. =]
@OctBride-2012: Thanks! I know a lot of people from around here can’t wait to leave, but it’s an area that is sooo unique and rich in culture!
@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Thank you! I was a little taken back by the design at first because he had told me “bead set” and I thought it was the same as the pave for whatever reason. I knew he’d do a wonderful job. I can’t wait to wear it for more than 20 minutes at a time!

Thank you all so much for your kind words! I couldn’t think of a better place to show it off before the wedding than the Bee.
I can’t wait to wear them both. Only a month (and a day, but does it REALLY count?) away!
