Wow… I LOVE them. I don’t think I could walk in heels that high though!
@KatNYC2011: They’re actually not too bad! I do wear high heels alot though… Thank you!
gorg! what’s the comfort level? I was considering the same pair but I heard that they’re super uncomfortable and stiff. :/
@elliestan: I find them pretty comfortable. Be aware, the souls are slippery. I am going to get matching red ‘rough’ added to the bottom. Dont know what that is called. I find that as they are not platform, they move with the ball of your feet and toes, where as the platforms, are not forgiving, and while you’ll feel less of the height and the arch, you have far less control. I felt the sling back platforms looked like hot Saturday night shoes, if you know what I mean, and were totally prime for an ankle roll. If your used to high heels, you’ll be fine. As for the stiffness, all shoes are strife in the beginning. These are not exception.
@HardyPooleParty: thanks for the update – you should get some of these for the bottoms!: http://www.footsmart.com/P-Summer-Soles-Heart-Stoppers-2-Pr-10699.aspx?srccode=YDFR1&cm_mmc=GOOGLE-_-YDFR1-_-Foot%20Health-_-NA&mr:trackingCode=95867120-75B0-DF11-92F8-0019B9C04BE4&mr:referralID=NA
yeah, platforms definitely make it more comfortable for me, but I’m worried that I’d just teeter totter and fall over in them due to lack of control and general clumsiness. maybe a good insole would help though. that’s good to hear that you don’t think they’re that bad though – I was hearing that they were horrendous so I figure if I’m spending that much, I’d better be able to wear them for a few hours at least!
@elliestan: I have another pair from him, and its about the same. I really feel that with each pair of heels, you have to have a certain walk for them. All I mean is you have to find the way to move your body, that works with the heel, instead of fighting them. Just do a lot of home carpet walking. I know I plan to! Haha.
The scuffed sink and the shower with the clear plastic curtain really showcase the shoes.
