Me and the SO like to bet favors on card games (winner gets a back rub and such) so last night I said if I won I got to buy a wedding magazine.
I figured that 2 years ago I told him I want to be engaged by the time I graduate (less than 3 weeks away) and he’s been dropping hints like crazy. I need permission so that I didn’t feel like I was a crazy woman planning a whole wedding without a fiance.
**it doesn’t count as “planning” if I havn’t bought anything. Just because I have the color scheme, church, and hall picked out doesn’t mean I’m planning…..
It’s not like I’ve picked a date…. Although june of next year looks good**
Oh crap, poor guy. He has no idea what he’s in for.

HAHA I am glad you are lighthearted about waiting because I sense there are girls who ruin the entire proposal by pestering.
Have a certain degree of patience and trust for him to do what he wants to do. It will be so worth it!
I bought my first wedding magazine few weeks after being engaged – and I told him (I’m very neutral in emotions about weddings in general) and he said it’s cute I was excited. (I wasn’t THAT excited but I did like looking at dresses)

😀 I love bridal magazines! There’s just so much pretty stuff to look at!
I’ve never purchased one yet since I have nowhere to hide it… well.. maybe between the mattresses. LOL
I laughed at your comment about him not knowing what he’s getting into. Try not to break the dam when he finally does propose. 😉

I know what you mean….I have “planned” about as much as you have. LOL…SO doesn’t know it though. He did pretty much pick the season (which is exactly what I wanted so great) and I’d already had a date in mind too 🙂 But I havent’ gone as far as to buy any magazines just secret binder for me for now. I love your waiting spirit. I hope the engagement comes soon so we can read the story. I think I may have about 3 months left of waiting at the most. **fingers crossed**

HAHA! yeah the guys have no idea how some of us have intensively researched certain things 😉
I’ve bought wedding mags and books for a few months now and I’m still waiting *though I do have a timeline now*
Hope you get your special day soon 🙂
