@cbee: I know! I didn’t go to the bachelorette party, but I did go to one of the bridal showers. But she had a crowd there. Then that made me more upset really. We exchanged an awkward “hi” and a few “what have you been doing these days” but that was about it.

@Beluga: That’s a good idea. Hey, it’s not a box.

OH MY!!! What would possess someone to do that. you should send a small GIFT BOX! with 2 Cents and a note…. “Here’s my 2 Cents… oh yea and never ask for money and NEVER EVER ask someone to be generous.- Congrats!”

HA and I def wouldnt go!

Oh wow.  This is hilarious/shocking/sad/ridiculous on so many levels!

I would also not go, but I would be *SO* curious as to what the wedding would look like.

People never cease to amaze me.

So…. I take it they didn’t register anywhere?  🙂

Wow.  I wouldn’t even think about RSVP’ing.  Or I’d send her a damn gift in spite of her.  That is absolutely rude.

@rachel_leigh: I second that, then send her a letter like

“I was going to get you a gift, but since you mentioned donating them to Goodwill, I just made a donation with the money I would have spend on your gift, in your name. Congratulations!”

Be sweet and polite just to really stick it to her!

Wow, she actually wrote that she would throw away gifts? WTH.

Normally, I’m against stirring the pot, but I seriously think she deserves a snarky response for that.
