@Nini_Crown:  Since your wedding is going to be in December I’d go with the darker/richer colors like plumb or purple.  I was married in April.  I did gold, ivory and just a hint of a spring green.

My colors are white, gold, and black in that order. Naturally, I’m partial to those.

@Nini_Crown:  We had Ivory and Pink for our winter wedding. There really wasn’t a color that represented both of us. Luckily, DH was fine with the pink as long as he didn’t have to wear it.

We’re doing red, blue and gold.  And linens and stuff are white, and probably some flowers, too, but we’re not considering that one of our colors.

With white and gold– you can match that with almost anything. What do you love? And what’s his favorite? And what color do your ladies look great in?

The purple or the turqouise could work for you since you already love them. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am doing white, gold, and very pale blue. Except I am having trouble working the blue in there so it might just be white and gold.

But I think you can’t go wrong with any pale shade- pink, green, even white/gold/pale blue and lilac together, if you want to spring for four colors

We are doing ivory, gold, chocolate brown and plum.  It’s a very rich and elegant pallette.  Our flowers will be mostly white hydrangea with some fiddleheads except for mine, which will be dark plum calla lillies.  The girls are wearing plum dresses and the boys have plum ties and pocket squares.  Our linens are brown taffeta, votive candle holders gold mercury glass, plates ivory, centerpiece is hydrangeas and fiddleads as above, and our champagne flutes are purple tinted.  Our color choice was highly influenced by our venue, but I love how it all looks together!
