I had my hair trial on Thursday and overall I loved it. For the day of, we are going to do more volume and I also want more texture/curls closer to my roots. I do feel like it needs something else, though, and I can’t quite put my finger on it! Maybe more pieces out near my face? What do you think, bees? I’d love some constructive feedback.

Yeah as you say it needs more volume and ‘oomph’. If I was doing your hair I’d be using texture powder and back comb to give volume and shape at the roots and maybe a few clip in pieces or a bun sock to bulk up your style at the back.
The notion is there totally but like you say it lacks a little. Volume and bulk would add the drama and shape you’re after I think.

Will you be adding anything? A hairpiece or flowers would add that special touch.

Can she put in some medium hot rollers in before she does the updo? That way she can get some more volume and curles/waves overall and it would last a lot longer. I would worry that your hair will go flat by dinner otherwise.

xo_futuremrsbear : I honestly love it so much that I’m seriously considering showing these pictures to my stylist for my wedding hair if you don’t mind!
A simple flower piece would make a little more special, but I think you’re good to go.

Extra volume and a nice comb with some bling or flowers would be lovely!

I think it’s beautiful as-is!! But I agree the back does need a little something. Like flowers or a cute comb.

sarahparkview : You’re so sweet! You can totally show her, but there are also looots of updos on Pinterest like it. I showed my stylist a couple of different ones and she worked her magic.
mrsaime : Kristin June : megrays : PinkCat : Thanks for the advice, bees. I’ll be wearing a veil (probably tucked below the twisty part but above the bun part.) Wouldn’t it be a bit much if I added more?
lifeisbeeutiful : I’ll mention that idea to her. We are starting hair around 3pm with the ceremony around 6pm and photos/cake cutting/first dance shortly thereafter. Do you think it’d be necessary?
