I’m a 12/14 in general daily life. Since getting engaged, all anyone says is that I better start losing weight for the wedding. My mom tells me I need to diet so its easier to get pregnant. At Christmas dinner, I was eating the vegetable appetizers (no dip) and my Future Sister-In-Law says “have you not eaten today? You’re at those veggies a lot”.
No, I’m not a size 4. I never was. I never will be. I’m happy with my weight. Fiance loves me the way I am. Shut up people and let me be happy with who I am!!!!!!
end rant 🙂

That’s terrible! It would be hard to resist snarkily telling them the same, so they don’t look uggo in your wedding pictures. Alternately you could suggest they should start being a lot less judgmental if they want an invite to the wedding 🙂

I’ve been hearing the same thing. I’m a size 14/16 right now and while I have been losing some weight, it’s not for the wedding. I was under a lot of stress over the last few months and lost weight as a result. I am not going to diet for the wedding. I’m ok with the way I look and I do wish that people could understand that.

Luckily everybody knew not to get on me about my weight. I would have come at them swinging.
I did want to lose weight though, & I went from 148lbs to 129lbs, & now I’m back up 10lbs since my wedding weight woops!
