I’ve always liked it, it fits your “rules”, and doesn’t have a patriarchal meaning. Peaceful, long-lived, and comforter come up as meaning; however, it was recently/is still popular for boys now. A lot of middle-school aged boys are named Noah. Depends on how much you care about being unique.
Darren – “great”
Neil – “champion” or “passionate”
Leonard – “lion’s strength”
Edward, Liam, Joel, Jered, Evan, Ian, are all names I like, but not really because of their meanings.
