These aren’t lace, but they are pretty, and mid-high http://www.tonybianco.com.au/heels/hansel.html
I think the Martinez Valero Ursula also might fit what you’re looking for, if you can find it still available. Myglassslipper is down for maintenance now, but they might still have it

@RyantheGirl: Those are really pretty but it doesn’t look like they have online ordering…?
I’d be happy with something that is either fully closed or fully open. I just don’t like peep-toes because they hurt. I hate the way my big toe gets jammed out through the hole. So something that is more of a sandal is just as good as a pump as long as it’s not a peep toe. Funny you should mention the dance shoes because I was just thinking the other day that if worst comes to worst, I do have some off-white tango shoes that are reasonably pretty and the right height and since they weren’t expensive and aren’t my primay dancing shoes, I guess I wouldn’t cry about it if I ruined the sole walking on the grass or cement with them. I did also consider buying a more “character” type dance shoe, but most of them have a chunkier heel and I do honestly prefer a stiletto.
I’ve been looking at every kind of shoe store. But since it is the middle of winter in Australia, those kinds of shoes are not really in season at the moment and most stores don’t have any light coloured shoes, let alone something bridal looking. 🙁
I’ve heard some people say that Light in the Box is one of those Chinese knock off sites that doesn’t do very good quality and while that doesn’t bother me so much in a shoe (like it would in a dress, for example), I read on another forum a couple months ago that someone had ordered shoes from them and said that the sizing was way off- as in, several sizes too big. So I have to say, that rather put me off them. 🙁
I actually considered ordering that Badgley Mischka shoe from DSW until I saw they don’t have my size anymore! I saw it last night and I was like, “Well, that could probably work…” and then my hopes were crushed when I saw they have no size nines left. But after seeing them and considering them, I do sort of like the beaded detail on them and I think that could be a nice substitute to lace.

Have you found a pair that you at least like the shape of? If they are satin, have you considered getting them modified by covering them with lace? This could be a great way to match the lace of your dress to your shoe perfectly.
I voted go bare-foot!

LOL your 3rd choice is hilarious!! And I agree with the other girls; get something in the height you think you’d like and then later you can choose your proper shoes. Maybe some of the online department stores o/s (Nordstrom, Harrods) might have a huge range you can browse through to get some inspiration?

I was able to find the Badgley Mischka Stryker on Amazon. They have sizes 5-8.5: http://www.amazon.com/Badgley-Mischka-Womens-Stryker-Pump/dp/B0055ANOG2
they are also on endless.com ^_^

@Edelweiss: It’s definitely a Chinese knock-off site but I found it was pretty decent quality and using their measuring chart, the shoe was a pretty good fit. I got these ones.

@quirky_tersa: How long did it take you to receive your shoes? I notice that they say 10-12 business days processiong time and up to another 8 business days shipping time. That’s nearly a month and I definitely can’t wait that long. It’s hard to know sometimes if they are just being extra generous with their time estimates to give themselves more leeway in case of customer complaints or if that really is the usual amount of time it takes.

@Edelweiss: I ordered on April 3rd, and processing and shipping was on April 10th. So I would say it took only about 5 working days (or 1 week). At the time I ordered, they were having a deal and upgraded all shipping to DHL so it came in a week. LitB has deals like that fairly frequently.
I would say 2 weeks tops? From payment to arrival for me.

@Edelweiss: Oooh I just checked their website and they are having 50% off international delivery!

@rosworms: The Harry Potter thing — that’s what I did! I had never seen it / heard of it before deciding to do it. Where did you get the idea?

@Edelweiss, I think they are actually not available for ordering until next month! Sorry!

I don’t have experience with their shoes, but I had a pretty good experience ordering my veil from Light In the Box, and I was impressed with how fast their shipping was.
