I know how you feel, I’ve been looking for something rustic, maybe lace and twine. I don’t know.

I looked through TONS of etsy ads, but I only found 1 I like, and I’m not quite sold… i’d like it alot more if it was kraft paper instead of grey.

@bretonvirgniia:  Fonts can always be changed. I did not like the font (for our invites) the lady had on the sample invite, but she was able to make it less swirly and it ended perfect! But we were going for something more formal, but not overally formal because we are having a wedding at 11.

I’d suggest going to a paper store that specializes in wedding invitations and working with someone to design your invites.  That way you can describe what you want and work directly with them to make them perfect!

There’s something charming about these…I’m not sure I have a firm grasp on rustic, french country, shabby chic…but I think through a combination of color, wording, and adding the twine or lace element at home, these might be along your line…

I know how you feel.  I am doing a Christmas theme in April and I couldn’t find any invitations I liked.  I ended up using Christmas cards that we found the day after Christmas and covered up the saying inside with our invite wording!  They turned out amazing!  It may be something to look at.  I am sure there are plenty of vintage cards out there.
