I really don’t like when I get distinct pregnancy symptoms, and end up not being pregnant. This has happened to me several times and it’s happening right now. My period ended about a week and a half ago, but my breasts have become extremely sore over the last few days, something that doesn’t usually happen until the week before my period! I’ve also been a bit tired, nausous, and hungry. This happened to me approximately a year ago too…full on pregnancy symptoms including sore breasts, nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, bloating, etc….and I’m convinced I miscarried. The doctor said it was likely when I described the miscarriage, which involved really bad cramps (which I never get) and bright red blood, but didn’t find any pregnancy related hormones when they ran the test. I also know when I’m pregnant since I had an abortion in college about 10 years ago. I know what it feels like.
I know there’s something out there called phantom pregnancy, which I also think I’ve had before. It’s so real it’s scary.
Has anyone else had repeated false alarms with really believable symptoms?

Yes! I’m not TTC, and this has happened to me twice! Scary stuff!

Glad to know it’s not just me! Although I am not TTC, I would be happy to be pregnant, so it’s a bit emotionally exhausting and such a disappointment when I find out I’m not.
My symptoms are fading now so looks like another false alarm 🙁

I’m glad I found this thread! I’ve been going through the same symptoms of fatigue, hunger, soreness of breasts, etc – and I thought I was just coming down with the flu. I took a home test but it was negative, so who really know’s – right? :p

@DragonLotus: Every test I’ve taken has been negative too. But my symptoms are still going on. It’s the weirdest thing!
