I just went for my third fitting and I still dont love it, infact I think the more I try it on the more I feel dissapointed with it.
It was meant to be taken in as last time it was too big, this time it is too small i cant even zip it up.
It has no support, my boobs look like they are down to my knees and she says there is nothing we can do as it has a low back and I just have boobs that are too heavy for the dress to support I will need to add strap, I dont want straps 🙁
I dont know what to do, except cry:(

I agree, with meticulousladybug. This is your wedding day, you should feel beautiful and amazing. If it’s in the budget to get a new gown, do it now. I had a small ceremony in Jamaica and had a hell of a time finding a dress on short notice. I bought one, HATED IT, and then went and got a different one a couple weeks before the wedding. I’m glad I did. It still wasn’t the dress I wanted due to time constraints but it was better then the first one.
Go try on some dresses and tell them you need something that can ship ASAP. then they’ll only bring you dresses that can be rushed. And lots of dresses can by the way, you still have some time!!
Let us know what you decide to do. You’re not alone…a lot of us have been where you are!!

I got the 7-way bra, something like that, from VS- like the one in that picture, and actually folded the cups down (does that make sense?) so they are just under my breasts, and when I zip up the dress, they are supported enough because the dress is tight.

Can she sew in some cups for you? And yeah, I agree, if you have the budget I’d be looking for something that you feel fab in!

@cbee Great idea! I’m hoping when my dress comes in I’ll be able to determine that I can go without a bra, but if that’s not the case I’ll try your idea

I agree with the others. I hated my dress, you deserve to love your dress! Start looking for a new one now!
Try posting it on oncewed on something!

If it is just the fit then get something like this:
There are strapless bras with low backs!
If not, maybe you can find a sample dress or an off the rack dress. There are long white dresses that can be used for a wedding that aren’t a “wedding dress.”

i’m so sorry… i hope you feel beautiful on your day and can find a solution for your problem!

It sounds to me as if the bust is just the icing on the cake for why you don’t love your dress. If it’s not right… it’s not right. You may not have time to order a new dress, but find sample sales, call all the stores and ask if they have any dresses they can sell off the rack, see if Davids has any new styles you like, check preownedweddingdresses.com, other dress sites, and the classifieds here. Try Craigslist and see if you have any bridal consignment shops in your area. Great deals can be found.
I’m really close to getting a different dress myself… You deserve to always remember your dress with fondness!

Can you post up pics? Maybe you just need reassurance.

Pretty much every store I went into is willing to sell the samples off the rack if they fit you. Just scout around! Check out oncewed.com’s pre-loved dresses. You are probably in the game enough to know what you like by know- GO AND GET IT! I just exchanged my dress this week for one that I absolutely LOVE. Before that I was up at night agonizing about the dress that I previously picked. Get something you feel beautiful in, NO DOUBTS!

i was in your boat, and it seemed the more i tried to like my dress the more i hated it. its your day, get a dress you love. you have some time, not alot but some. alot of davids bridal gowns they have some in stock to sell right off the rack if you can afford it. check their website too cause they have a outlet on there and alot of dresses are only $99.00 if its not in your budget to buy a new one. good luck on whatever your decision may be 🙂

I don’t know if someone else asked this but can they sew bra cups into your dress? Can you post a pick?
