Well you may hate it but I think you look stunning!! And I never post that someone looks good on a dress thread just to make them feel good, only if I mean it!

@armybride2b: First things first you look GORGEOUS!!! That dress makes your waist look so itty bitty! And there is nothing fat about your arms, they look like normal arms to me.

Second, I’m sorry you are feeling down about the dress but just remember there is a reason why you choose it in the first place. Just breath, relax and take a moment to enjoy the dress without criticizing yourself. You look beautiful and the dress is lovely (I considered it myself).

@PitBulLover: same. I would never say “Oh you look beautiful!” if I didn’t mean it, but seriously, that dress looks awesome on you and gives you a fantastic hourglass shape!

You do look stunning in that dress, but us telling you that isn’t going to change your mind!

Do you think you could take come of the crinoline out from underneath? that would take away some of the poufy. I’m wondering if the seamstress could shorten the train a bit, and maybe take out some of the pickups, so that the bottom of the dress would fall straighter? Not sure what other suggetions to offer. I’m my head, I’m thinking from the inside by your hips, pull it in a bit more like a fit and flare so that it doesn’t poufy right at your hips, and that might give it a slimmer line, and not be so poufy?

When I tried on my sample, there was no crinoline under it, and the skirt fell straigh (with some pickups and rosettes for detail). When my dress came in, there was 1.5 layers of crinoline underneath, and I freaked out. But now that I’m looking at the pictures, I like the way it is a bit fuller on the bottom. shows off the detail of the rosettes better!

It does look great on you!  I think there is just so much pressure to have the “perfect” dress for the wedding, I am getting anxious about mine coming in.

I honestly don’t think it looks like the dress is overwhelming your body. I love that the bodice drops low enough to see how tiny your hips are… not to mention your itty bitty waist! Yea, the skirt is full, but that makes it beautiful. I love the back of the dress, especially because it shows how little you are. I’d take a deep breath, have some wine, and don’t look at any dresses online… that just fills your brain with confusion. You look gorgeous in it and you’ll rock it on your wedding day!

You look great in it!

That being said, 58 days is still a lot of time if you need to change your dress…they can rush order you a new one and for a price, alter it quickly. Also, some bridal salons have consignment dresses and you may find one you like in your size that needs minimal alterations. Just FYI! Good luck!

I think you look great and your arms certainly do not look fat!  I would just try to de-poof it a bit if its worrying you. Can you cut out some poof underneath?

I think you look beautiful! You look like a princess! I love the sparkles on the top and how tiny it makes your waist look! I agree to try to take out some of the poof from underneath (or just in case its a hoop skirt you might be able to slip the hoops out to cut them and make them smaller). A minor alteration like that could really change the shape of the dress if that’s what concerns you (althought I think it’s great) and could make a world of difference! Good luck!
