I think the gloves are a great idea, some are super cute. After the wedding you can work with a tattoo artist or a friend with some artistic talent to come up with an idea for a cover up. Turn it into something that means a lot to you.
I covered one on my arm with a breast cancer ribbon for my grandmother, this gave me inspiration for many more that I am turning into a sleeve with different ribbons for different friends and family and the ribbon that represents them and their fight and their life. A good friend of mine helps me design them, I even had my daughter create one for me I still need to get when all extra funds arent going to the wedding. lolThe pic below show part of 3 of them.

Stage make up is brilliant for this kind of thing. 2 of my friends use it, one for an unsightly and heavy birthmark on her face and the other to cover up vitilago Ron her legs when she wears skirts etc. go to a proper stage / costume shop and get the right shade for you. It has a setting spray on it which makes it stay on all day and not run off on your clothes (essential when wearing white dress!) good luck. Xxx

i think you need a quick fix that won’t rub all over your dress 🙁 then you can laser it later.
what about something like this?

if you can’t find one you like to buy i’d get some of this:
and buy something like this to put on it. with a litte double sided tape, it won’t shift and show your tatoo 🙂

I don’t have a before picture but mine was a name and my husband paid to have it removed. Sorry for the bad quality and not the whole picture, it’s on an area that I’d prefer not to be online. It’s upside down as well but here it is
And yup, I’m a supporter.
I don’t know how much you can cover though as most of it’s black which can’t really be covered but you can go into a tattoo shop and see if they have any ideas. I have a big chunk of black as well, when I got the above tattoo I have another tattoo with the same name on my belly in this huge like 3inch wide 6inch long tattoo so I just had her black out the name for now, I’m hoping to eventually get a tummy tuck and see if part of it can be taken off as it’s in the area they would remove the skin and I’ve got extra from my 9lb baby and a 90lb weight loss.
I’d suggest laser removal, at least to lighten it up to be redone
