Ugh. It always comes at the worst times! Vacations, camping, seeing each other after FI’s worked a 96. Boooo, I’m sorry that really sucks ๐Ÿ™

@MissCalifornia:  Oh that’s too bad ๐Ÿ™ at least you won’t have to remember to take pills/patch/ring etc on schedule anymore though!

I hear you! I am in an LDR, but I am on the pill, so I totally fiddle with my cycle a few months ahead of a visit so that my period does not come the first week I see him!

BUT there is a solution! I use Instead Soft Cups for my periods. THEY ARE GREAT. They sit up against your cervix and are out of the way so you can still get it on with it in. It’s fabulous. You leave it in for 12 hours and can forget about your period. My Fiance couldn’t feel it either, so it made for wonderful mess-free sex (not completely mess-free, but very very little). http://www.softcup.com/

I’m not a friend of my uterus either. My period came the day of our wedding (and was therefore gushing all 4 days of our honeymoon), I’m pretty sure it’s coming tomorrow when I have a bikini wax scheduled, and if that’s the case, it will also be arriving just in time for a fun romantic weekend trip with my Darling Husband to Vegas next month. Oh joy. Needless to say, I feel your pain and I’m sorry!  Spend some sexy time in the shower??

I have tried the soft cup thingies, and let me tell you, I have a tilted uterus and cervix and they don’t work very well and ARE NOT mess-free!  Give them a trial first before you use them for the real deal!
