your veil does look a little wrinkled which could be making it more poofy. have you tried lightly steaming it to make it lie flatter?

by the way, i think it’s beautiful! it looks great over your hair as well as under your bun. don’t fret too much – you’re going to look lovely!

I really like it under the bun, it looks a lot less poofy and a lot more streamlined. Plus I like seeing the bun, it is really pretty!!!

I’m sure you can.  I had a lot of wind blowing ones and mine was fingertip too.  Advanced warning: Those pics take a lot of waiting for the wind to blow the right away and the veil will attack you at times!

I think you need to steam it and then try it on with your gown. I don’t really like my veil either, but everyone else loves it. I think I will love it though, when I put it on with my gown.

Brittany, with this veil you can NOT pull that look. The reason is the material, ie Bridal illusion. It is the poofiest thing on Earth so there is just no way that you can pull that look. But if you have time, money and inclination you can buy a fabric called ENGLISH NETTING (that’s what the woman in the pic is wearing – you can tell by the way it drapes!). It’s a little pricier but that does give you the look you are after.

I bought my veil off ebay after being too frugal and not wanting to pay $150 for it…. i paid $3 for it….. design looked great but when worn looks horrible since the mesh seems thick and not flowy… I don’t think steaming it 5 times would even make it look normal…

Did most of you brides just went to the bridal shop to buy 1 since its once in a lifetime thing and will never wear again? : S
