Yellow gold 14 or 18K, free engraving and less than 300 if you stay in the 1.8 mm <= X <= 4 mm mark I think.

kkfirerose :  Check out your local jewelry shops/pawn shops, you might be able to find something. Return this ring first though.

Return it!  You deserve a ring you love.  After all, this is a ring you are planning on wearing for the rest of you life.

I highly recommend eweddingbands.com for great budget rings.  I got my second wedding band from them and they were great to work with.  Etsy also has great wedding bands.  Yes, a lot of vintage wedding bands won’t be in your size, but handmade ones can be made in any size.  You’ll probably have to pay more because of the extra metal.  Deb Blazer has some really pretty engraved rings.

kkfirerose :  I’m so sorry you ended up not liking the band you ordered. What a frustrating and upsetting experience.

I’m joining PPs in putting in yet another good word for e-weddingbands.com. I have ordered from them three times, and each has been an easy transaction. I had questions with one of my orders, and called to talk to their customer service people. I found them to be incredibly friendly and helpful. And I think their prices are pretty fantastic, too.

I hope you manage to find exactly the band you want.

Could Etsy have a few pieces?
