I’ve always wanted a band with an engraved pattern and a polished finish. I ordered my band on Amazon and the image for the ring looked reflective and shiny, like a polish finish would be. My ring arrived today, and it has a matte/brushed finish, a look that I have always hated. Honestly, I hate the look of the finish so much that I began to cry. My fiance says we can return it and get another band, but I don’t know where to find a yellow gold, engraved, polished band for under $300, which is the most I can spend on my ring.
Does anyone know if it is possible to take an engraved, brush finish band and turn it into a polished band?

Speak to your local jeweller. They may be able to fix it for you xx

Yellow gold 14 or 18K, free engraving and less than 300 if you stay in the 1.8 mm <= X <= 4 mm mark I think.

You have to return it if it made you cry!

The problem with etsy is a lot of sellers won’t make the rings in my size. I have very chubby fingers and wear a size 10.5

Another for e-wedding band. I just ordered from them. I love the ring but I got the wrong size.

kkfirerose : Check out your local jewelry shops/pawn shops, you might be able to find something. Return this ring first though.

Return it! You deserve a ring you love. After all, this is a ring you are planning on wearing for the rest of you life.
I highly recommend eweddingbands.com for great budget rings. I got my second wedding band from them and they were great to work with. Etsy also has great wedding bands. Yes, a lot of vintage wedding bands won’t be in your size, but handmade ones can be made in any size. You’ll probably have to pay more because of the extra metal. Deb Blazer has some really pretty engraved rings.

kkfirerose : I’m so sorry you ended up not liking the band you ordered. What a frustrating and upsetting experience.
I’m joining PPs in putting in yet another good word for e-weddingbands.com. I have ordered from them three times, and each has been an easy transaction. I had questions with one of my orders, and called to talk to their customer service people. I found them to be incredibly friendly and helpful. And I think their prices are pretty fantastic, too.
I hope you manage to find exactly the band you want.

Could Etsy have a few pieces?
