It can be tricky but it always works out in the end 🙂  I wouldn’t worry if the numbers aren’t too exact..as long as they are roughly similar it should be fine.

We hear you! It is a real problem to take the “obvious” groups and divide them into tables of 8 or 10.

Don’t forget that it is really only for the dinner though. People will get up and move around after that.

I know – I’m dreading it. Did you use post-its? We are going to write names on the post-its (the little ones, like the kind you tab pages with), color code them for FI’s family, my family, his friends, my friends and set to it!

Post its are great. So much easier to move people around.

I totally agree with the post-its and I am going to get a family member to help with this duty. It’s not a one person job 😉
