lifesgood :  have you tried wtoo? It seems closer to the style your looking for. Or if your looking for crepe fabric, madison james makes some. I know how you feel, I tried on close to 40 dresses as well, and im also 5’4 and slim

I f you like the crepe fabric then you might want to look at Theia,  Mikaella bridal, Pronovias and Tara Keely. I almost purchased the Tara Keely 2450 but decided on another dress.  The crepe fabric was surprisingly heavy  yet comfortable. But be warned if you have any body issues it might not be the fabric for you as it shows every lump and bump once it is fitted.

Bhldn has some crepe dresses in their bridal and sale wedding dresses.  You could order one.  They ship promptly and have a good return policy.

lifesgood :  if you like tulle, look at Watters/Wtoo or BHLDN. the Penelope (?) was quite popular on pinterest – it had an illusion lace top with tulle skirt. even if it’s not THE gown, the designer is worth a look.

I had a similar experience! After 6 bridal shops and like 80 dresses tried on, I didn’t really love any of them. I think I knew even before I started shopping in person that I was going to be an Etsy bride. My dress turned out more perfectly than I could have imagined, I would definitely recommend this route if you really know what you want and what looks good on you. I think the shop I ordered from would have some great options for the style you’re looking for, and I highly recommend them.

lifesgood :  That Jasmine dress is Gorgeous! I really love the clean lines and the feminine lace on the bodice!

I went with a V Neck dress also. Mine is Mermaid but not as much so as a few I tried on (Seriously how do some ladies walk in those?!) I had a rough time with dress shopping. I am maybe not picky enough, and completely understand what you meant by “Getting lost” in the dress…I felt like most of the dresses were wearing me and not the other way around. lol
