I’m with you. The only thing that kept me from going completely bonkers this week was finding a free wedding photographer. That makes me feel a bit better, but I know soon I’ll be stressing something else!

I’ve been procrastinating for a month.

I’m right there with you. Sometimes I feel like I have it all together and then other times the amount of details overwhelms me but that’s why I scrapped the big wedding and decided to do Fiance and I at the beach getting married. Sooo much less stress!

A coworker I hadn’t seen in some time asked me how the wedding planning is going. I told him the big stuff is mostly done, it’s all little details now. He said “you must be excited!” and I answered honestly: “I care more about the marriage than the wedding. The wedding is just one day and I’ll be happy when it’s over!”

I totally agree. With just over 2 months to go I’m so ready for it to be here and over with!!! Now that it’s getting closer I’m panicking and really super procrastinating. It’s ridiculous.

Hahaha just you wait until you’re a few months out and you’re trying to wrap up all the million little details. My Fiance doesn’t believe me when I tell him I’m over the wedding planning and am just ready to have our big day and then move on with our lives together. He just says “Yea right, you love talking nothing but weddings and watching the shows and gushing over details.” Ha he is so wrong. It’s exciting but at the same time overwhelming and stressful and expensive!

@AmeliaBedelia: Relax. Just remember that you’re planning a celebration in honor of your love and devotion to each other. Remember that your families have got you to the place where you are today. Remember that no one gives a crap about centerpieces or color schemes. And most of all, remember that a single day is not worth going broke over.

Cinco de Mayo theme or not, it’s your WEDDING! You’re marrying the love of your life. If you have to scrap the theme in order to save some money, do it. A garden wedding will be just as beautiful. Use what you saved to have a taco fiesta night at your new house once you buy it!

Me too.  Hate weddings.  Including mine.  But Fiance did just tell me he’s going to deployed 6 out of every 12 months until at least 2014.  He’s a civilian.  He’s free to get another job (and his field is small enough he can do it.)  But no.  He’s HAPPY about it.  Shoot me now.

I am tired of shopping for a photographer.  They’re all asking for too much.
