I did 2 months straight.  got in great shape and gained 10LBS!!!  I just finished taking them off and will never do that again.  DO NOT follow the eating plan,  I really think that is what made me gain all the weight.

Fiance and I tried.

We did, seriously.

We DUG DEEP!

And then we hit the ceiling, because we have low-ish ceilings, even though we’re only 5’6″.  

Oh well.

phew.  I DONT envy you!  hahaha =)  well, probably the results you’ll see after, but P90X killlllllzzzzz

I am doing the 30 day shred and am loving it so far in combo with weight watchers. It is a such a short DVD…20 mins. And I am normally a runner so this feels like such a short work out for me. I am already down 5lbs in 3weeks. I have done weight watchers in the past and love it and have lost A LOT of weight doing it so Fiance and I are doing it together I am hoping to lose another 10lbs over all and tone up.

I have a friend who is a beach body coach (the people who make the P90x programs and slim in 6 etc) she says for girls she recomends their ChaLean Extreme program instead of the P90x. She said it seems to work better for girls in terms of weight loss and not hating the “weights” part of it. Just a thought. I am going to look into this one after I am done with the 30 Day Shred.

jillieb  keep up the hard work I am sure it will be worth it. It is great to have a supportive Fiance too doing it together is awesome!

the eating plan comes with the kit and it depends on your weight when you start.  The weight was muscle but I was not looking to acheive the bulky look.  It was a killer workout and I really loved it but switched out to “leaner” workouts.  I am running and southbeach dieting, down 12 lbs and still going.

My Fi did it and lost 45 pounds! It really works! You probably gained weight because its an intense workout. The more calories you burn your body wants to replace.. so you probably ate more because you were burning alot of calories. Too lose weight you need to watch your caloric intake. And muscle weighs more than fat!
