Just because it’s a common dress doesn’t mean it will look common on you! I’m sure you can find some way to make it more unique with special touches that are in tune with your personality! Whether it’s great jewelry, accessories, or a colorful shoe, I’m sure you’ll find some way to make this dress truly YOURS!

Maybe you could do something to make it different. How about adding a sash or belt??

Also remember that you are on a site where everyone (almost) is getting married or just got married. More than likely your family and friends have never seen a dress like it.

Yes, you are being paranoid!  ๐Ÿ™‚

If you like the dress and you like the way it fits, who cares? Just as long as you’re happy.

In other words, don’t feel like you have to be different just for the sake of being different.  Now, if someone in your family or group of friends has worn this dress recently, it would be a different story.

I felt that way about using the bridal march song – but why fight it if it’s lovely? haha. Don’t worry about it, girlfriend.

aww dont be upset! I just googled it to see what dress you were talking about.  I think its a totally unique and statement dress, remember you may see it a lot in the blogospher but in real life I seriously doubt a lot of your guests will have seen this dress! Its beautiful by the way!

I agree with Tonya2010. The dress may be common here…but think of how many brides post on Weddingbee.  Your wedding will be one of a few (or maybe the only one) your guests attend this year.  The odds that any of them would have seen your dress are miniscule.  Even if one of them had seen it on a model on a website…that is totally different than seeing it on a real, live bride.

I’d not worry at all about it.  Your dress is popular for a reason. It’s a beautiful dress.  That’s what your guests will notice.

Okay, I just googled it. It is gorrrrgeous and unique. Seriously. Because this is a wedding site, I became convinced that everyone is doing colored shoes, birdcage veils, etc– but in real life have never ever seen a wedding styled as such. This blog is full of people with excellent taste, so it’s natural to get absorbed in this blog and think everyone’s weddings are like this.

Well, and I realized how common my ring is, (round plain solitaire) but it’s not that it’s common– it’s classic and flattering, which is why it’s popular.

Your dress is a stunner and looks very modern.

Maybe the reason so many are wearing it because it is so fabulous. I say who cares- the dress is stunning and you are gonna look amazing in it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Your guests will probably only see you in it, so it’ll seem unique to them. And you’ll be the only bride wearing it in your pics. ๐Ÿ™‚ Be happy that you have a dress you love!

Maybe I can help by offering a different point of view. The dress that I found was online being sold by a different bride. When i went to google it to see other opinions on it, i came up with nothing. No other bride on weddingbee was wearing it at the time or had pictures of themselves in it, i couldn’t find anything about the dress other than on the designers website. This made me soo worried. I thought that if no one else liked the dress enough to wear it, what would my guests think? Was my taste so much different than everyone else that I would stick out in a bad way? Having other brides wearing the dress is a testament to your good taste! Rock the dress on the wedding day!

No worries, it is gorgeous that is why is “common”  You should feel proud of having it! I for one would have LOVED to wear your dress but when I started trying on dresses I realized that was not flattering to my shape at all. I’m sure you’ll look & feel amazing in your dress and that’s what matters! ๐Ÿ™‚
