I recently bought these super cute boots but have yet to wear them out because the shaft of the boot is signifigantly larger than my legs….. therefore causing the boots to stick out. I think it looks really dumb and have contemplated taking them back but Darling Husband and a friend both said it looks fine. I wanted an unbiased opnion!

It looks fine from the front. Its the side where you see a large gap

I think you’re the only one who will be scrutinizing it out in public.

from the front view, it looks fine. from the side view, it’s definitely more noticeable.

I think it’s fine. I also have chicken legs so all of my boots have a bit of a gap. I feel like that particular style isn’t meant to be skin tight, and looks fine with a gap.
You could also play around with wearing different pants with them. It looks like those jeans have a lot of stretch or are very slim cut. If you have a pair with thicker fabric or a slightly looser cut or bunch at the ankle more it might lessen the gap a little and make you feel better about the look. Whenever I buy boots I hate them at first because my legs are too small, but once I play around with outfits I end up liking them.

Yes, It’s very noticeble from the side, but I wouldn’t worry about it. Have you tried wearing socks with them, the cable type that show a bit?
I love those boots, where are they from?

I like that look, I think it kinda helps your legs look obviously thin which is totally a plus! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a gap at all. =)
