so to cut a very long story short, I bought a dress in November for an April delivery. The woman at New Beginnings in Brentwood Essex (dont buy from there) wont give me my deposit back because she thinks its acceptable to wait up until the day before the wedding – I dont think that is acceptable, My wedding is 5 weeks away and the only thing she could confirm is it wouldnt be here in the next 2 weeks and that its was 3 sizes too big for me!
Anyway, Traiding Standards have confirmed its breach of contract and im starting the (probably long) route to getting my deposit back – after a stressfull week (working forgetting to pay me, my flat falling through 2 weeks before move in date plus dress issue on top of a full time job, a small business and wedding prep) I have finally found an off the rail wedding dress in my size that I love! (Im a UK 16, which is either a US 12 or 14) and though I dont have a phto of me in it, this is my new dress: I would love feedback 🙂 also i think it is much nicer than my original dress 🙂

Thank you, it is going to be a real task getting that deposit back, i can feel it, but its all going to work out ok. I do need to try this new dress on but they have taken it off the shelf for me so its mine if i want it, and i love it 🙂

What an ordeal, but your dress is gorgeous!

Ugh, how frustrating to go through all of that in one go. However, the way the top is ruched is going to be super, super flattering. I think your dress is very elegant, and it leaves you room to do whatever you want as far as accesories go without making it look like too much.
