I think the bustle in your pic looks great!

Have you talked with a seamstress about this? Search general bustle styles and then just show your seamstress what you like. If she’s worth her salt, she should be able to build the bustle of your choice into the dress (assuming the train is long enough).

I think that a french bustle might look better with the front.  Here is a picture of mine.

That is too funny!  We are wearing the same gown AND have the same wedding date!  If you figure out a good bustle option post it please!

I can’t see the pictures but I would schedule an appointment with Davids bridal and bring a video camera to tape how to bustle it, that way all your bridesmaids can watch it and help out too! :o) GOOD LUCK!

I had a dress similar to yours.  I had the embroidary on the train that was triangle shaped.  And what my seamstress did was the french bustle.  If she does it correctly she won’t cover up any of the embroidary on the train. It will only cover up some embroidary that’s around your thigh area.  I have pictures of how my dress is bustled but they are at home on my home computer.  I’ll try to post them tonight.

I know this thread has been up for a little bit…

Does anyone have any pics of how they bustled this dress? I have the same one.

I have a similar problem with my dress. I don’t think it HAS a bustle. Is there a way to have it put in?

@kcasam, you can definitely put a bustle in. I suggest taking your dress to a good seamstress in your area and ask them to help you with it. They can put one in and should also show you how to work it. I brought my Maid/Matron of Honor to my fitting so that she could practice!

This is how I’m doing mine.  But I’m gonna have the 2 bottom corners pinned down so it doesn’t just “hang” like that.
